Born in Casablanca, his childhood was carefree and happy under the African sun, until he left. Arriving in Paris at the age of 11, he discovered the Louvre, Egyptian antiquities, Greek statues and the great classics of painting. It was the revelation of art and culture that planted the seed of the artist he is today.

After a long managerial and international career, Antoine Lopez returned to France and devoted himself fully to painting.

During these years of expatriation, he continued his painting by setting up a studio wherever he stayed: in Venice, in Sao Paulo-Brazil, where he sold his first painting "The Little Shoe Shiner". Then, he left for Shanghai and discovered traditional painting and ancestral Chinese culture, he visited museums and modern art exhibitions.

Self-taught, he allowed himself to be imbued with this human and cultural diversity and was influenced by expressionism and fauvism.

Back in France, he developed his style in a painter's studio for a year and finally decided to show his works, which had remained personal until then, with a few exceptions from interested buyers.
